At Barleycroft Care Home, we believe that life’s little joys make a big difference in our residents’ wellbeing. Recently, a few of our lovely ladies enjoyed a special day out filled with shopping, laughter, and delicious food—a perfect example of how simple pleasures can lift the spirits.
Our outing began at the bustling Romford Shopping Hall, where the residents visited popular stores like Primark – Romford and Superdrug – Romford. Everyone enjoyed picking out a few things for themselves—whether it was clothing, personal care items, or small treats.
After a morning of shopping and exploring, our ladies wrapped up the day with a relaxing lunch. This was the perfect way to share stories from the outing, enjoy each other’s company, and recharge before heading back home.
Outings like these are more than just a shopping trip—they are an opportunity for residents to socialize, experience the community, and engage in activities that bring happiness and a sense of independence.
