Meet the manager

Natalie has over 23 years of experience in nursing and brings a wide range of clinical expertise to her role at Barleycroft Care Home. Throughout her career, she has worked in Orthopaedics, District Nursing, as a Deputy Falls Nurse Specialist, Complex Discharge Coordinator, and Frailty Nurse. Barleycroft is the fourth care home she has worked in, where she continues to focus on delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

She has a strong passion for end-of-life care and is committed to ensuring that residents’ wishes, as well as the needs of their families, are respected and supported with compassion and dignity. At her previous care home, the team achieved an Outstanding rating and was awarded the Gold Standards Framework for excellence in end-of-life care.

One of Natalie’s proudest achievements is completing her nurse training despite living with a disability. She also encourages her team to remember an important value she believes in: “I work in my residents’ home; they do not live in my place of work.”

Natalie maintains an open-door policy for both families and staff, encouraging open conversations, support, and reassurance whenever it is needed.
