A purpose built care home with a homely feel

Welcome to Kenyon Lodge Care Home, a purpose-built care home in Little Hulton in Worsley, on the outskirts of Salford in Greater Manchester. We take great pride in offering a homely and caring living experience to our residents. Set on the site of the previous Kenyon Arms Pub on Manchester Road West, our home caters for 60 residents across two self-contained units, each floor with homely lounges and dining rooms and communal facilities.

Step inside Kenyon Lodge and be greeted by our warm, homely and inviting accommodation with access to our delightful gardens and outside tearooms. Each of our 60 en-suite bedrooms are tastefully decorated and furnished, we provide general Residential and Nursing care, each floor is fully equipped with necessary amenities such as bedrooms with adjustable beds, personal nurse call bell systems throughout and all the specialist nursing equipment needed for the care of our residents. Our commitment to personalization is evident in every corner of our home, with each detail tailored to embrace the uniqueness of our residents and our home.

Meet the manager

As a qualified Nurse, I have worked in the care sector for over 30 years. I am proud to be the Registered Home Manager at Kenyon Lodge and to lead and continually develop the dedicated team of staff at the home who are also as passionate about ensuring they continue to deliver quality person-centred care to their residents as I am.

Kenyon Lodge is a home from home for our residents. We provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere to all and are glad to be part of our wider community. Our residents, staff and families love to be involved in our activities and community events and we hold much pride in their involvement in these.

We also offer physical, occupational, and speech therapy services, as well as mental wellness and spiritual care programs—ensuring complete well-being.

Dining is a central part of life at Kenyon Lodge. Our homely dining rooms on each floor are thoughtfully arranged to create a relaxed and sociable atmosphere, encouraging residents to dine together and connect. Tables are beautifully set with attention to detail, and mealtimes are seen as a highlight of the day.

Dietary needs are carefully considered to support each resident’s health and enjoyment.. We believe that good food feeds the soul. That’s why our experienced chefs prepare fresh, homecooked meals daily, using high-quality ingredients and seasonal produce. Residents are encouraged to give input into the menus, which are designed to reflect both personal tastes and nutritional needs. Whether it’s a comforting roast dinner, a light vegetarian option, or a traditional pudding, there’s always something to look forward to.

Special occasions are celebrated with themed meals, cake tastings, and food-based activities, turning dining into a sensory and social experience. Residents also enjoy occasional outdoor lunches at Cuppa Corner when the weather allows.
