Official opening of Kenyon Lodges “Remembrance Garden” 2021

On the 2nd September 2021 we officially opened the “Remembrance Garden at” at our Kenyon Lodge Care Home. The memorial was attended by family, friends, residents and staff with distinguished guest, Barbara Keeley, MP for Worsley and Eccles South, John Mullen, The Right Worshipful, The Ceremonial Mayor of the City of Salford as well as our senior management team, Mark Cloonan, Group Operations Director and Sarah Willitts, Regional Operations Director.

This memorial garden was created and built as a place where loved ones, families, friends and staff alike can all go and reflect on the memories of our residents that we lost through this pandemic. It was a beautiful day with heartfelt speeches made by Barbara Keeley MP, John Mullen, Ceremonial Mayor followed with a blessing of the by local Priest David. The ceremony concluded with CHAPS Amanda Wild whom had written the most beautiful poem “Remember Me” whose words were touched by everyone. You will forever in our hearts our Kenyon Lodge Angels.
