Kendal Care Home were delighted to receive a donation of £355.00 from Ceiva Eady. Ceiva is from Tebay and she decided she wanted to raise money for a good cause by baking.
Ceiva works as a chef at another place, the Lake Watermill and she put her skills to really good use, baking delicious cupcakes during lockdown.
Ceiva decided she wanted the proceeds of her hard work to be given to Kendal Care Home to be used to make Christmas extra special this year for the residents.
This is another example of the community spirit that we have seen and the generosity of spirit in 2020.
