Residents at Aarandale Manor Care Home are now enjoying two new additions designed to enhance comfort, social interaction, and everyday living — a newly opened cinema room and a dedicated private dining area.
The cinema room offers a cosy and relaxed environment where residents can come together to watch a variety of films, from timeless classics to family favourites. Designed with comfort in mind, the space provides an opportunity for residents to unwind, socialise, and enjoy shared experiences within the home.

In addition, the care home has introduced a private dining space, thoughtfully created to allow residents to spend quality time with their loved ones. The area provides a welcoming setting for family meals, small celebrations, and special occasions, helping to create meaningful moments in a more personal atmosphere.

Kirsty Harris, Home Manager for Aarandale Manor Care Home highlighted that the new spaces reflect the home’s continued focus on resident wellbeing and community living.
“These additions are about creating opportunities for residents to connect, relax, and enjoy their time here in a comfortable setting,” they said. “Whether it’s watching a film together or sharing a meal with family, these spaces help support a sense of home.”
Residents and visitors have already responded positively, appreciating the warm and inviting nature of both areas.
Aarandale Manor Care Home continues to prioritise initiatives that enrich the daily lives of its residents, reinforcing its commitment to a supportive and engaging care environment.
