~The team at Abbey Lodge Care Home swapped their usual routines for an exciting indoor adventure as they hosted their very own Bush Tucker Trial!
Inspired by the famous television challenge, the activity was all about having fun, encouraging teamwork, and stepping outside of everyone’s comfort zones. Our fantastic staff embraced the challenge with enthusiasm, taking part in a series of entertaining tasks that had everyone smiling from start to finish.
There were plenty of laughs, cheering from the sidelines, and unforgettable moments as colleagues supported one another through each challenge. While the trials certainly tested a few nerves, the atmosphere was filled with positivity, encouragement and great team spirit.
At Abbey Lodge, we believe that creating a happy and supportive environment extends beyond the care we provide to our residents. Activities like these are a wonderful way to strengthen friendships among our team, boost morale, and celebrate the incredible people who make our home such a special place every day.
The Bush Tucker Trial was a huge success, bringing everyone together for an afternoon full of laughter, camaraderie and lasting memories. It was a fantastic reminder that taking time to have fun as a team helps create the warm, welcoming atmosphere that our residents and their families value so highly.
