We’re thrilled to share that we have been awarded the Green Mark Level 1 accreditation – a significant milestone on our journey toward a more sustainable future.
The Green Mark is an internationally recognised environmental certification that demonstrates our commitment to operating in line with best environmental practices. This accreditation is a reflection of our ongoing efforts to reduce emissions, improve efficiency, and act responsibly for the benefit of both our community and the planet.

Through Green Mark’s online portal, we submitted detailed information about our operations, answered in-depth questions, and provided supporting evidence to demonstrate our environmental practices. This submission was thoroughly reviewed by an independent auditor – and we are proud to say it led to us achieving Level 1 accreditation!
Throughout the process, Green Mark provided us with a helpful framework to establish clear goals, measure progress, and communicate our environmental journey both internally with staff and externally with our wider community.
As part of the recognition, we received a certificate, window stickers, and digital marketing materials, which we now proudly display across our homes and platforms – highlighting our commitment to sustainability to all who visit or engage with Abbey Healthcare.
