"At Applecroft there are various opportunities to improve your knowledge and skills. From being an HCA to Senior HCA then progressing on to becoming A Care Home Advanced Practioner by completing the CHAPS training course. This allows you to assist the qualified nurses with administering medication, wound treatment, taking bloods and contacting medical professionals. By completing CHAPS training provided by the home it has broaden our knowledge and given us a feeling of achievement."
